Reiki The Japanese Art of Healing What is a Reiki Circle
This is Eileen Dey for Expert Village andin this segment we'll talk about what is a Reiki circle. One of the cornerstones of Reikicommunity are the Reiki circles or sharers that are created by the Reiki practitionerscoming together and giving and receiving treatments. It's a wonderful way of fostering communityand also getting your own Reiki needs met. It's beautiful and healthy to have a treatmentevery week or every other week. Each community has a different schedule. Reiki circles themselveslast about two hours to three hours and run the gamut. Some incorporate music, some aremore serious, it's really up to the Reiki master. So any Reiki individual can find acircle near them. In this next segment we'll
talk about bringing Reiki into the community.
Spirit Science 2 Chakras
Man know thyself, and thou shalt know the Universe and God Pythagoras Hi there. Welcome back!, as we touched uponLesson 1, the world right now isan incredible disharmonic state A few people mentioned that we have always been disharmonic, and this is true. In fact, we have been growing more and more disharmonic for about 13,000 years now. It'sour DNA, and is something that we are passing through as a species. We are at the end of it though, and we will never be here again. We are nottune with ourselves, and mass consciousness is beginning to realize it.
The reason for this, however, is not quot;becausequot; bad politics or greedbusiness those are simply long term manifestations of the real problem which liesa much more individual level. The true problem is our old way of thinking, creating tension on every level. This will become more apparent as the lessons go on. We are going through something of a shift right now to a completely new state of being, with a new way of thinking and a different understanding of the one reality. In today's lesson, I'm going to talk about the chakras, and how you can become moretune with yourself
and with those around you on multiple levels. Spirit Science Lesson 2: Chakras Now, for us to even start to understand Chakras first we have understand the basics of light and color. If you take pure light and shine it through a prism, The light will break into a spectrum of 7 colors. Red, yellow, orange, green, blue, indigo and violet. We familiarly recognize this as the spectrum of the rainbow
or even more familiar the basic palettePhotoshop. This spectrum as we know, is the foundation of every visible color. What you may not know about color is that each color has its own vibration. Red has the longest wavelength and the slowest vibration frequency. We recognize this as a warm and stimulating. Violet has a shortest wavelength and the fastest frequency and we recognize it as cool and calming. I don't think I have to describe what happens between these two colors, it's just a frequency change. This basic knowledge believe it or not is very important,
but we are gonna have to look at some other stuff first. Now,modern science, we've learned that certain colors can stimulate mental activity, and other colors can calm the mind. We know that we need light energy for nourishing our brains, emotions, physical body, and perhaps most importantly, our Chakras. So what is a Chakraé The word Chakra comes from Sanskrit word meaning wheel, A chakra is a wheel like vortex spinninga circular motion within the body. This forms a vacuumthe center that aws energy on a vibratory level. It can awanything from color vibration to microwaves to energy
and emotions of people you we come into contact with. This workstandem with the thought realm that we discussed last week, as thoughts are a vibratory level Right, so Chakras are energy points that run vertically from the top of the head down your spine. Depending on how you lookat it, there are 7, 8, or 13 primary chakras, as well as over huneds of smaller, less important ones that are just stered around the body. I will cover 8 and 13 later on, so for now let's just stick with the basic 7
